Engineering Informed Analyses
We believe the depth and breadth of our consulting engineering work differentiates us in the marketplace. The Energy Efficiency Measures (EEMs) that we identify for implementation are intelligently informed by our design experience. We identify EEMs that are meaningful, realistic and supported by robust engineering analyses of both energy savings and design constraints. The energy reduction market has matured significantly and the easy prescriptive fixes such as high efficiency motors and lighting upgrades have already been implemented in almost every facility. ENGVT assists owners and manager with developing efficiency plans that balance prescriptive measures with deep retrofit options. ENGVT has a proven track record of identifying, assessing, and implementing the whole spectrum of energy reduction measures, and our design experience allows us to cull potential energy measures that may look great in the energy model, but would present cost prohibitive challenges in implementation. Our clients embrace our design engineer influences for adding valuable perspective to our modeling services. “Engineering informed Analyses”.
Analyses Informed Engineering
The energy reduction market has matured and the easy, prescriptive fixes of high efficiency motors and lighting have often already been implemented. ENGVT assists owners and manager with developing efficiency plans that balance prescriptive measures with deep retrofit options. ENGVT has a proven track record of identifying, assessing, and implementing the whole spectrum of energy reduction measures. From this perspective ENGVT offers energy modeling and analysis services appropriately tailored for all project phases. ENGVT stands above others with our ability to offer technically rich analytic services using research level tools like Energy Plus and integrating those results intelligently into the detailed design in a wholly collaborative way in the project team. Our clients appreciate the analytical advantage we bring to the engineering and design process on their projects. “Analyses informed Engineering”.
Energy Modeling
ENGVT uses a unique work flow for Energy Modeling that reduces the time intensive data entry classically associated with these services. This technique applies especially well to existing buildings where original documents are long lost. The technique employs isometric photographs to generate facility geometry inputs. Versus traditional text and numerical data entry associated with the current state-of-the-art tools, this technique allows more time spent on analysis and calibration. Our structure as primarily engineers before modelers grounds our modeling results in a real world know how of implementation for energy reduction strategies. In conjunction with ENGVT offering commissioning services, the data obtained in those efforts becomes vital in Measurement and Verification applications.
